Exciting times!

We have had a busy few months here at RFTS and we still have lots more coming!

Our amazing students took their IDTA examinations two weeks ago and for some this was their first time and for our seniors it was their last as they go off to college/university this year.

All of our students were amazing on the day and the results speak for themselves!

So many Distinctions and high Merits once again and 100% pass rate!

AWESOME!

Our competition team have also been working hard and have produced some fabulous results from our recent festivals!

Lots of places and lots and lots of improvement

in all areas!

We are looking forward to more upcoming festivals after our show in June!

Since our last blog Miss Jasmine has also been working hard - Jasmine recently took her latest teaching examination, Level 4 Modern Jazz with the IDTA and passed this important exam with a whopping 93% - Distinction!

Jasmine always works super hard to ensure her students have the best training and is currently working on her next teaching exam!

We would also like to congratulate Emily on gaining a place on the jazz/pom team as well as the hip hop team at the University of Queensland and to Lauren on her next dancing job on a cruise around the Mediterranean!

Happy New Year!

Wow! What a start to the new year we have had at RFTS!

Our school is buzzing with lots of new events, pupils, performances, examinations and an upcoming SHOW!

We would like to welcome back every single pupil and give a special mention to all of our new members!

You are all doing so well and we cannot believe the progress made in just the first month!

Our competition team are also training hard for their first festival this weekend! They have already had their first ADFP Competition of the year and as always fantastic results were had by all!

We wish them all the best this weekend and know that they will go out, give their best and enjoy every moment!

We are so proud of their progress and their commitment to their dancing!

Our annual show will be held this year at the Retford Majestic Theatre on Saturday 24th June!

Preparations are well under way and our production this year will be Shrek the Musical!

IDTA Examination Success!

Congratulations to all of our amazing pupils on fantastic examination results!

Everyone worked super hard to prepare for their examinations and the results proved that!

All of our pupils now have their certificates and medals and are very happy!

Congratulations also to Miss Emily who passed her Anatomy Diploma and her Associate Freestyle with Distinction making her a fully qualified teacher and a member of the IDTA!

As Christmas approaches our pupils are all working towards some special Christmas routines to show their friends and family.

They will be performing these in classes towards the end of term.

It has been another amazing year at RFTS and 2023 has some extra special surprises coming your way so keep an eye out for those!
