Happy New Year!

Wow! What a start to the new year we have had at RFTS!

Our school is buzzing with lots of new events, pupils, performances, examinations and an upcoming SHOW!

We would like to welcome back every single pupil and give a special mention to all of our new members!

You are all doing so well and we cannot believe the progress made in just the first month!

Our competition team are also training hard for their first festival this weekend! They have already had their first ADFP Competition of the year and as always fantastic results were had by all!

We wish them all the best this weekend and know that they will go out, give their best and enjoy every moment!

We are so proud of their progress and their commitment to their dancing!

Our annual show will be held this year at the Retford Majestic Theatre on Saturday 24th June!

Preparations are well under way and our production this year will be Shrek the Musical!

Keep an eye out for news on when tickets will be on sale, we guarantee you won't want to miss out!

IDTA Examination Success!

Congratulations to all of our amazing pupils on fantastic examination results!

Everyone worked super hard to prepare for their examinations and the results proved that!

All of our pupils now have their certificates and medals and are very happy!

Congratulations also to Miss Emily who passed her Anatomy Diploma and her Associate Freestyle with Distinction making her a fully qualified teacher and a member of the IDTA!

As Christmas approaches our pupils are all working towards some special Christmas routines to show their friends and family.

They will be performing these in classes towards the end of term.

It has been another amazing year at RFTS and 2023 has some extra special surprises coming your way so keep an eye out for those!

Happy Halloween!

What a wonderful month we have had at RFTS!

Our students have been very busy getting ready for their IDTA Examinations including Emily who took her first Associate Examination!

Emily has worked very hard over the last few months so she could do her exam before heading off to Australia!

We all at RFTS want to wish Emily the very best of luck and cannot wait to see what she gets up to!

Our very smiley littlest students took their very FIRST examinations in Ballet, Tap and Freestyle and they all did so well!

While Emily has finished her dance journey with us these little ones are just at the start and we cannot wait to see them progress through the years!

All of our other students are preparing for our next exam session in March and are all working super hard!

As it has been Halloween and half term for our students we have had Halloween dress up week with fun and games thrown in!

All of our students looked amazing in their Halloween costumes and had lots of fun in class over this last week!

Lastly over half term week our competition team competed at the Askern Miners festival and came away with fantastic results!

Their hard work is really paying off, every student is growing in confidence and performance and they are really shining on stage!

Congratulations to senior dancer Jenny on becoming the Four Counties Inter Schools Senior Modern Champion - an amazing achievement!
