New term!

A very big welcome back everyone!

We hope everyone has had a lovely summer and rest.

Classes are now back in full swing and it is so lovely to see everyone again and to also see lots of new smiling faces!

If you are new to RFTS we send you a very big hello and looking forward to seeing you progress in your classes!

We had so much fun this year at our Dance and Acro camps!

This is the first year we have run these and they were a huge success!

We hope everyone who attended had as much fun as we did!

We have lots of things coming up at RFTS: Exams in October and December, Festivals, Competitions, Halloween Dress Up and a Christmas party!

Our first dance festival back is this weekend and our competition team are raring to go!

We would like to wish every single one competing this weekend huge success- go smash it girls!!

Summer at RFTS!

What a summer we have planned at RFTS! Dance/Acro camps, festivals, competitions and performances!

This week sees the first of our summer camps at the studio! Two hours of acrobatic fun followed by two hours of dance fun! We will have some crafts, lunch and fun games for all of our participants! This has been funded by Rossington councillors, Rossington Parish Council and Well Doncaster and is FREE to all Rossington Children! Camps will be running on 28/7, 2/8, 11/8, 25/8 & 1/9. Miss Jemma and Miss Jasmine will also be working with KIXX again delivering Dance and Acrobatics sessions across Doncaster.

Our competition team will also be competing at Summer Time Festival in Askern and in Scunthorpe for Cliftons Freestyle competition - as always we know they will be amazing and wish them a enjoyable and successful time!

RFTS will also be doing a Hawwaain inspired performance for the residents of the Royal Care home in Rossington on 25th August!

We also welcomed back this week senior dancer Emily after her amazing trip to Malyasia and Borneo.

Emily was there for 3 weeks, trekking through the jungle, helping the village of Choh build bamboo huts and exploring Penang, Miri, Bario, Kuala Lumpar and the Batu Caves!

What an amazing experience!

RFTS classes will finish for the Summer on Friday 5th August for Rossington classes and Friday 12th August for Harworth Classes. All classes will resume on Monday 5th September. To book a class please email us at: info@rftsschoolofdance.com or drop us a message via our facebook page!

Wow! What a show!

At RFTS we are just coming back following the success of our recent show at the Retford Majestic Theatre!

We had the most brilliant day performing our routines to all that came to watch resulting in our very first standing ovation!

What an experience that was!

Everyone from the staff at the theatre to the audience - parents, relatives, chaperones and friends said how professional, entertaining and captivating the whole show was!

From the really tiny ones to our most senior pupils everyone gave it their all!

We are so pleased to be able to offer such an amazing experience to all who attend RFTS and we know that those memories will stay with them forever!

For our senior dancer Emily this was her last show as she moves to attend university in Australia in October! Emily has been the most amazing pupil at RFTS and we are so pleased at the beautiful young lady and dancer she has become! Emily and her mum Kath have been vaulable and treasured members of the school and we will miss them both so much but we know that only great things lie ahead for Emily!

For the rest of our pupils it is time to get back to our all important exam work to keep our amazing technique up to scratch and to ensure all are progressing with their dance studies!

Some of our pupils have been out performing at various events - adding to their list of performance opportunities we offer at RFTS!
